Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in campaigns organized by Bourbon for the Cause, a business dedicated to fostering a community of bourbon enthusiasts while raising funds for Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By participating, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy at THIS LINK HERE. Campaigns offer exclusive bourbon experiences and member-only events, such as the Horse Soldier Barrel Pick Experience.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to U.S. residents aged 21 or older, except where prohibited by law. Residents of states with restrictive raffle laws (e.g., Alabama, Hawaii) are ineligible. Employees, contractors, or affiliates of Bourbon for the Cause, Folds of Honor, or Horse Soldier Distillery, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.

3. Campaign Details

The Horse Soldier Barrel Pick Experience campaign runs from May 19, 2025, to September 15, 2025. One (1) Grand Prize (valued at $20,000, including a private barrel of Horse Soldier Bourbon and a $3,000 travel voucher) and five (5) Runner-Up rewards (bourbon-related items, detailed on the campaign page) will be awarded. Odds of receiving a reward depend on the number of eligible participants. There is no limit on participation.

4. Participation Methods

No purchase or payment is required to participate, and participation does not enhance reward eligibility. You may participate for free via the form on the campaign page, providing your name, email, phone number, and age verification. Alternatively, purchase participation entries through the campaign page. All participants, free or paid, are treated equally. Phone numbers serve as unique identifiers; email confirmations are sent for all entries, with receipts for purchases. Receipt or transaction numbers are not entry numbers.

5. Reward Distribution

Rewards will be coordinated via phone and email within 30 days of verification. If applicable, rewards will be delivered via insured express shipping (signature and age verification required) to a U.S. address permitted by law, or available for pickup at our Edmond, OK office (16328 Muirfield Place Suite #22, Edmond, OK 73013). The Grand Prize experience must be redeemed by December 31, 2026. If alcohol shipping is restricted in the winner’s state, alternatives (e.g., cash equivalent or local pickup) will be arranged. In-person delivery by staff may occur with consent. Winners are responsible for all taxes, fees, or costs associated with rewards, including income tax on the $20,000 Grand Prize, reportable to the IRS (Form 1099-MISC issued).

6. Data Privacy

Participant information (e.g., name, email, phone number) is securely stored and used solely for campaign administration, reward distribution, and communication. See our Privacy Policy at [insert privacy policy link] for details. By participating, you consent to Bourbon for the Cause contacting you regarding the campaign and related activities.

7. Nonprofit Support

All net proceeds from the campaign benefit Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families of fallen or disabled U.S. service members. Net proceeds account for operational costs, such as marketing and reward fulfillment.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds for purchased entries are subject to applicable law. Requests must be submitted in writing to sip@bourbonforthecause.com within 7 days of purchase, subject to review. Free entries are non-refundable, as no payment is required.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bourbon for the Cause, its affiliates, and partners (including Folds of Honor and Horse Soldier Distillery) are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from participation or reward acceptance, except as required by law. Rewards are provided “as is” without warranties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.

11. Miscellaneous

Participation is void where prohibited by law. Bourbon for the Cause reserves the right to modify or cancel the campaign due to unforeseen circumstances, with notice provided on the campaign page.
